Dublin Theatre Festival

Now in its 55th year, Dublin Theatre Festival was founded in 1957, and has grown to be Ireland’s premier cultural event, continuing to lead the way in the presentation of outstanding Irish and international performance.

The festival is unique in its ability to stage major international theatre of scale, and has hosted productions by the world’s most highly regarded artists, while also premiering work by the giants of Irish theatre.

The festival will take place in up to 20 venues around the city and will, alongside the main stage productions, hold a host of special events, discussions, talks and workshops.

With a wide range of shows for that will suit all ages, budgets and tastes, the festival guarantees that there will always be something for everyone!
