Loughcarrig House

This relaxed and quietly luxurious country house is in a beautiful shore side location overlooking Cork harbour, and ideally situated for bird-watching and sea angling.

However, Brian and Cheryl Byrne’s beautiful Georgian home also makes a wonderful base from which to explore the East Cork area.

Reception rooms have a wealth of artefacts and objet d’arts, with a grand piano in the main sitting room.

Bedrooms are comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities, and with views over the estuary or the mature gardens.

A warm welcome and a pleasantly hospitable atmosphere, combined with an excellent breakfast served at a lovely big communal table, ensure that visitors will want to return.
