Mac Ivors is a handcrafted cider made from apples grown on a family orchard in the Orchard County.
Using only the best apples from the orchards, Greg MacNeice set to work and after many trial blends he created two distinct and perfectly balanced ciders: Mac Ivors Medium (fresh and fruity); and Mac Ivors Traditional Dry (full bodies and complex), which took silver at the International Brewing Awards 2013.
Mac Ivors ciders are all made using 100% fresh-pressed apples and cold-fermenting yeast to preserve the aroma. Greg uses dessert apples for fruit and sweetness, Bramleys for acidity and cider apples for flavour and tannin.
