Barraderry Country House

Olive and John Hobson’s delightful Georgian house is in a quiet rural area close to the Wicklow Mountains and, once their family had grown up, the whole house was extensively refurbished and altered for the comfort of guests.

Big bedrooms with country views are beautifully furnished with old family furniture and have well-finished shower rooms - and there’s a spacious sitting room for guests’ use too.

Barraderry would make a good base for exploring the lovely counties of Wicklow, Kildare, Carlow and Wexford and there’s plenty to do nearby, with six golf courses within a half hour drive, several hunts and equestrian centres within easy reach and also Punchestown, Curragh and Naas racecourses - and, of course, walking in the lovely Wicklow Mountains.
