Breda Battles’ smart modern guesthouse in Dunmore East has easy accessibility to the beach, and offers a moderately priced base for exploring the area.


Rooms to the front - including the pleasant breakfast room and lounge, as well as some of the bedrooms - have a sea view. Everything is very clean and well-maintained and, although hard flooring throughout can be noisy, bedrooms have plenty of hanging space and a writing desk as well as TV/radio and tea/coffee making.


Tasty breakfasts include lovely scones and preserves, well-made traditional Irish and some other options, such as scrambled egg with smoked salmon.
