Brazen Head

Dublin's (possibly Ireland's) oldest pub was built on the site of a tavern dating back to the 12th century - and it's still going strong. Full of genuine character, this friendly, well-run pub has lots of different levels and dark corners.

Food is wholesome and middle-of-the-road at reasonable prices - visitors will be pleased to find traditional favourites like beef & Guinness stew and Irish stew, but there are also more contemporary dishes like stuffed breast of chicken with sage & sausage meat, wrapped in bacon - and a lot of seafood.

Live music nightly in the Music Lounge.

Seats 80 (private room 40, outdoor seating 40). Open every day,12-10: L12-6 & D 6-10 daily (Bar meals 12-9). Closed 25 Dec & Good Fri. Amex, MasterCard, Visa, Laser.
