Bruno's Restaurant

Bruno Boe’s attractively located contemporary restaurant (previously known as Italia) is equally popular with local diners and boating visitors to the marina.

The interior is well-designed on two levels to take full advantage of views over the river and Knockvicar marina, and the decor is colourful, comfortable and stylishly appointed - high-back chairs, classy tableware, fine glasses - an unusually cosmopolitan approach for a rural restaurant.

Expect authentic Italian cooking - and fair prices. Hospitality is generally warm - when in top form you get the real Italian welcome and, although service can be slow, the overall package is attractive enough to keep people coming back.

Seats 70; children welcome (high chair, childrens menu); toilets wheelchair accessible. D Tue-Sun 6-9.30pm, L Sun only 1-4pm. Set Sun L about €22; set D about €35; also a la carte.
