Bácús Bistro
In a small room along the ‘restaurant mile’ at the top of Main Street, this is a sister restaurant to Gerry O’Shea popular Prego on Henry Street.
It’s open all day and is equally known for good casual food through the day, including excellent breakfasts, and for bistro-style evening meals, when you will find tempting house specialities such as bouillabaisse and steak frites on the menu.
As at Prego, fresh, local and organic ingredients are the starting point for everything they do and the cooking is good; its popularity is simply explained: generous food, well served in a good atmosphere and very keenly priced.
