Cape Greko

This friendly first floor restaurant offers a genuinely relaxed big Greek Cypriot experience and it's a fun, good value place for a group outing.

It's a simple room decorated in cool blue and white to match the Greek flag that takes pride of place over the wine rack, with high-backed lightwood chairs and tables simply laid.

You can be sure of a warm welcome, and friendly staff are quick to take orders from menus that offer a good selection of the classics - tzatsiki, hummus with pitta bread, grilled halloumi with tomato & onion salad and calamari.

Favourites from the main courses include lamb kleftiko (meltingly tender slow cooked lamb shank), or chicken kebabs served with tzatsiki.

A range of side orders includes a Mediterranean salad, along with other staples such as couscous and roasted peppers, but it's worth checking whether you need to order extras as some dishes are very generous.

There is live music on Friday nights too, which makes it a real night out.
