Carlton Millrace Hotel

Ideally located for a break to explore this beautiful area, Bunclody is not much more than an hour’s drive from either Dublin or Rosslare.

This large hotel offers a wide range of facilities and, despite its size, is tucked quite neatly into a wooded site and does not dominate the village too much. Individually furnished guest rooms, suites and family apartments are spacious and comfortably furnished for leisure and business guests, and there are full spa facilities.

A modern bar on the ground floor attracts local people as well as hotel guests, and there is an impressive restaurant at the top of the building, which overlooks the town and opens on to a balcony - very pleasant on a summer evening, and handy for smokers.

There’s salmon fishing on site, walking in parkland and the nearby hills, and a number of championship golf courses are within an hours drive.

Conferences/Banqueting (350/250); business centre; meeting rooms; free broadband wifi. Rooms 72 (1 suite, 2 junior suites, 60 executive, 12 family, 6 disabled, all no smoking). B&B from €50-70pps. Children welcome (under 8s free in parents room, cot available free of charge, baby sitting arranged, playroom, kids club). Lift; 24hr rooms service; Leisure centre (indoor pool, gym, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room); Spa. Midweek specials from €129 (3 nights). Closed 22-26 Dec. MasterCard, Visa. abbreviations
