Carron House

Mary Hally’s country home is on an award-winning farm, in a peaceful location in the heart of the Golden Vale, yet only minutes from Cashel and just an hour from Kilkenny.

Approached up a long, well-maintained drive, first impressions are very encouraging, as there’s a lovely front garden in front of the large, modern house - and separate entrances for the house and farm.

Large individually decorated bedrooms include one triple room (with double and twin beds) and are very comfortably furnished, with generous beds, television, tea/coffee facilities, hair dryers and neat en-suite shower rooms.

Housekeeping throughout is immaculate and there’s a guest sitting room with antique furniture and interesting books, which is always available to guests.

Mary, who is a friendly, attentive and informative hostess, gives guests a good send-off in the morning, with a generous, well-cooked and nicely presented breakfast in a large sun room overlooking the garden.

Directions:

Take N8 south bound from Cashel for 4km (2.5 m), exit at sign for New Inn R639. After 3 km (2m) signposted left at crossroads; follow signs.
