NEW OWNERS & NAME - RE-ASSESSMENT PENDING

Keating's was well known as a welcoming pub for many a Dubliner until it disappeared a while ago in the massive wave of reconstruction that has taken place around the Mary Street area, and now it has a stunning new home in this converted church.

A striking ultra-modern see-through entrance tower outside the church sets the tone for an impressive contemporary interior which includes a function room with great views of the city, as well as a large ground floor bar (with a restaurant area in the surrounding gallery), and a cellar bar & café.

Although, initially at least, it seems to have missed the mark on the food side, the sleek minimalist bar would be well worth a visit for the sheer quality of the restoration work alone. The old has been meticulously restored and the new sits easily against it, a testament to brilliant design.
