Ciúin House
Quietly situated on the edge of the town but within comfortable walking distance of all its amenities, Fiona Reynolds’ stylish new purpose built guesthouse is effectively a small hotel.
Bedrooms are simply but warmly furnished to a high standard and are very well-appointed, with orthopaedic beds and all the in-room facilities expected of an hotel, and some of the pristine bathrooms have Jacuzzi baths.
A private sitting room is comfortably furnished with style, and has a gas fire and a surround sound music system and plasma screen multi-channel television for guests’ use.
A high level of comfort and amenities, immaculate housekeeping, hands-on management and an emphasis on genuine hospitality and service all make this a great place to stay.
Restaurant:
An extensive breakfast is served in a bright and airy restaurant, which opens on to a paved area with outside seating in fine weather and is open to the public for breakfast and snacks, lunch and dinner.
[*The restaurant was closed at the time of the Guide’s most recent overnight visit, but a delicious informal evening meal was most hospitably prepared, and we look forward to revisiting in the near future.]
*The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner – non-residents are welcome.
