The Country Store

With local suppliers including The Tannery, Eunice Power, of Powersfield House and Baldwin's Ice Cream from Knockanore, you'll find an exceptional choice of of local speciality foods alongside everyday items at Conor Lannen's terrific store.


The Country Store is central to the life of the town, and this well-named shop reflects the seasonal production of farmers and growers in the area.


Simply laid out in traditional style, you'll find well grown potatoes and carrots, free range eggs, eating apples and honey - and an impressive range of artisan produce too, everything from homemade jams and natural fruit juices to ice creams and cheeses, and also breads and home bakes including the famous traditional loaves from Barron's Bakery in Cappoquinn.


Caring chefs value both the quality and the sense of place of what's on offer, and The Country Store distributes to leading restaurants and hotels, as well as selling all this simple deliciousness in the shop.


Imported goods are stocked as well of course, and sourced to the same high standard.
