D Hotel

This cool new hotel is part of an impressive waterfront development in Drogheda, about 30 minutes from Dublin Airport, and is now setting the benchmark for high standards of rejuvenation in the centre of Drogheda.

The hotel’s contemporary lines contrast pleasingly with the old town, and the interior is bright, clean-lined, spacious and easy on the eye; it has a friendly atmosphere and helpful staff.

A huge foyer with some very modern seating divides into the reception/lounge area, and a smart bar and restaurant overlooking the river.

Comfortable bedrooms, many with superb views over the river and Drogheda’s town centre, all have comfortable chairs and standard amenities. With seven meeting and event suites this is an ideal place to host business meetings, or for private gatherings, and a new function room seats 300.

The ‘d restaurant’ is well located to take advantage of the river views and, although not quite matching the ambitious style of the hotel as a whole, the food is good and a meal here should be enjoyable.
