Enter Denise & Michael O’Callaghan’s well-named artisan bakery, which is approved by the Irish Coeliac Society and has a well-earned reputation for producing gluten- and wheat-free baked goods that are made with all-natural ingredients including locally-sourced free range eggs, butter and milk, and don’t compromise on taste.
Working on the philosophy that “Being on a restrictive diet should not mean a restricted food experience”, Delicious produces a taste-focused range of breads, cakes, snacks and desserts, including many of the treats normally out of bounds for coeliacs such as fruits scones, flapjacks, chocolate brownies and coffee gateau - or even a pizza.
Special occasions like Christmas and family celebrations can be a nightmare for coeliacs but these are looked after too, with gluten free versions of special occasion cakes and the traditional Christmas fare (Christmas cake, pudding and mince pies).
