Dunne & Crescenzi Sandymount

Genuine Italian fare is what you'll find at this small café-restaurant, a younger branch of the well-known Dunne & Crescenzi Dublin 2 establishment (see entry).

Convenient to the RDS and Aviva Stadium, this is a good spot for a meal before or after an event and they offer a great range of directly sourced Italian wines.

Like its older sister, this Dublin restaurants a quality ingredients-led place with tightly packed tables, an extensive Italian wine list and a menu that dispenses with the idea of courses, offering instead a selection of charcuterie plates, panini and other light dishes like insalata caprese, and also some hot dishes so you can have a light bite or a full meal as appetite dictates.

Simple excellence.

Sad as Dubliners were to see the 2012 closure of one of the city’s most iconic businesses, the Dublin Woollen Mills (where James Joyce, no less, once worked), it is cheering to see Elaine Murphy and the team from the equally iconic Winding Stair next door serving u ...

Visitors to Howth tend to stay around the harbour area, but there are some nice little restaurants and shops 'up in the village'. Just above the church, past the flower shop, this prettily presented independent food store, deli and café is where locals go for the ...
