Expect dry-aged beef and carefully sourced produce from small suppliers, such as Thomas Salter's rare breed pigs from Co Carlow - and other quality fare, including fresh fish, organic vegetables and wines.

Ennis Butchers

Ennis Butchers has been part of the Rialto scene since 1946, but it took a change of course when Derek Bolger bought the business in 1997 and applied his passion for quality and carefully selected suppliers to its development.

Since then he's built up a great reputation for his craft butchers shop, which now stocks a wealth of good things .

Great meats include dry-aged beef and carefully sourced produce from small suppliers, such as rare breed free range pigs from Thomas Salter at Fenagh, Co Carlow, but there's also plenty of other quality fare, including fresh fish, organic vegetables and wines.

Aside from the good things sold, their unusual promotional material - striking shopping bags, recipe leaflets etc - is of interest too; the result of a relationship with a local art and design business, everything is designed to be a talking point - and it works.
