Foxrock Inn

Sean and Marian Hyland run a very friendly, relaxed little place here for lovers of the country life.

Hill walking, fishing (coarse and game), golf and pitch & putt are all in the neighbourhood (golf and fishing packages are a speciality) and they’ll make packed lunches to see you through the day.

An open fire and traditional music (days & times on inquiry) make the pub a welcoming place to come back to and there is accommodation just up the stairs, in simple but comfortable rooms.

Rooms 5 (all en-suite, shower only & no smoking); B&B €45 pps, ss €19. Children welcome (under 2s free in parents' room, cot available without charge). Closed 1 Dec-7 Jan & bar closed Good Fri (accommodation open). Visa, Laser.

Directions:

On the R434, which links Durrow (N4) and Borris-in-Ossory (N7). Sign-posted off N7 and N8.
