Glassdrumman Lodge

In a dramatic hillside location just outside the coastal village of Annalong, and close to the great forest parks of Tollymore and Castlewellan, Glassdrumman Lodge is in the heart of one of Ireland’s most picturesque mountain districts, the ancient ‘Kingdom of Mourne’.

Graeme and Joan Hall have developed their former farmhouse into an unusual country house, where comfortable guest rooms and suites offer a peaceful base for golfers wishing to play the Royal County Down Golf Course - and for fishing folk, who may prefer casting for trout on the well-stocked lake, to other more energetic outdoor activities like walking and climbing.

The fine dining restaurant is also open to non-residents, by reservation, and fresh produce for dinner comes from their own gardens, and local seafood from nearby ports.
