Previous generations of husband and wife team Margaret and Gerard Kirwan's family business took over where the Cistercian monks of old left off in this area, ensuring there's trout a-plenty in the Little Arrigle River in the Nore Valley - enough, in fact, for the restocking of lakes, rivers and fisheries all around the country.



This thriving and innovative company supplies hotels, restaurants, wholesalers and fish counters throughout Ireland.


They welcome visitors to see their eco-friendly working environment and try their Premium Fresh and Smoked Trout - and also their delicious Irish Trout Caviar, which is a first for Ireland and going down a treat, both here and abroad.
