Twins David and Stephen Flynn run this cheerfully ethical vegetable shop, with smoothie bar, café and an evening tapas bar with wine and beer available.

If that all sounds a lot for a vegetable shop, it is, but the food is simple and tasty.Try the house salad, for example, with sprouted mung bean, watercress, radicchio in a pumpkin seed & parsley dressing: very good.

Although the shop itself is very small, a restaurant has recently been opened upstairs on Friday and Saturday nights, with live guitar.

A telling detail about this pair they run their van on local rapeseed oil. Now that is walking the walk.
