Hotel Double Tree by Hilton (formerly the Burlington)

Ireland's largest hotel, the Double Tree by Hilton (formerly the Burlington) has more experience of dealing with very big numbers efficiently and enjoyably than any other in the country.

Renowned for its banquets, the huge numbers are not only catered for but can have a minimum choice of three main courses on all menus.

This Dublin hotels recently refurbished bedrooms bring fresh appeal and, despite its monster size, it has a well-earned reputation for being well run and offering good value.

It offers good facilities for business guests - a high proportion of bedrooms are designated executive, with a working area and air conditioning, and a pleasant 15 minute walk to the city centre makes it an option for leisure guests who prefer a quiet location too.

Food, including breakfast, is better than might be expected of such a large hotel, and it is well served with transport to the airport.

Conference/banqueting (1500/1200); business centre; secretarial services; video conferencing. No pets. Special offers often available. Rooms 500. B&B about €145 pps, ss €115. Open all year. Amex, Diners, MasterCard, Visa, Laser. abbreviations
