IMI Residence

Within easy access of the M50, (Sandyford Industrial Estate exit), 1 km from the Luas stop at Balally and on the local bus route to Dundrum less than ten minutes away, the residence is on spacious grounds surrounded by trees with lots of parking.

It is a residence rather than an hotel, rather like upmarket university campus accommodation. The reception area is typical of the facility: modern, minimalist, high-ceilinged, high-windowed, with bare concrete walls covered here and there with modern paintings and wall hangings.

There is a definite business air about the place - lots of light and no frills, yet good uncomplicated service by efficient, friendly staff.

Comfortable bedrooms are decorated in smart, muted tones (blue/grey carpet, cream walls ), with work space, TV, telephone and internet lines. Particularly neat, well maintained shower rooms have black and blue tiles and full length mirror.

Only a continental, self service breakfast is offered, with good coffee.

The residence is an ideal base for the business traveller and its understated operation should appeal to a wider category of cost-conscious visitors to Dublin.

Conferences (300); free broadband; wheelchair friendly; laptop-sized safes in bedrooms; children welcome (under 6s free in parents' room, cot available free of charge). Rooms 50 (all shower only, executive and no smoking, 25 ground floor, 1 for disabled); limited room service, Lift. B&B is excellent value, from as little as €70 per room. abbreviations
