La Taverna di Bacco is a dark and atmospheric restaurant on the north quays, offering an interesting menu and simple ingredients-led Italian food, including great antipasta, unusual variations on risotto, handmade pasta dishes and really good coffees.
This Dublin restaurants level of service can be rather erratic but it is well liked nevertheless, especially if you're lucky enough to get a window table, overlooking the Liffey.
