The hotel overlooks the marina (beyond a public carpark) but the first-floor Lord Nelson’s Bistro restaurant is the only public room with a real view.
Only a few bedrooms are on the front - most overlook (neatly maintained) service areas - but all rooms are regularly refurbished and they are spacious, with plenty of worktop and tea/coffee tray, hair dryer and trouser press as standard in all rooms.
