1. Dom Balaquère 2003 Cotes Du Ventoux (France) €20
The Southern Rhone had a tremendous success in 2003 and this rich-bodied Côtes du Ventoux is a standout for the amazing depth of flavor and piquancy. And like all Côtes du Rhones it is delicious with hearty foods.
2. Cabernet/ Merlot. Malan Adelberg (South Africa) €18
Ruby red with a dark centre, soft tannins allowing berry fruits to develop, leaving a smooth finish.

4. Chianti Colli Fiorentini €25
Intense perfumes, ample and persistent. A fine example of dark and succulent Tuscan fruit. Good balance. Diletta Malenchini concentrates on the production of ‘new style’ Chianti - production volumes are half those of other producers, resulting in wines with good fruit concentration and freshness.

Round, ripe, deliciously smooth, elegant and flavoursome. Medium finish. One of Navarra’s finest privately owned wineries. France
6. Fleurie A.C., Beaujolais. F. Chauvenet, €23
Refreshing and fragrant, with soft summer fruits, light tannin and easy acidity. From one of the top winemakers in Beaujolais.
7. Fronsac A.C., Bordeaux. Chateau Mayne-Vieil 2001 €29
Deep ruby in colour; with very powerful aromas of plum, this Bordeaux from a very good year is richly fruity with vanilla, plum and blackcurrant. “Extremely satisfying wine, great length.”
8. St. Emilion Château des Vieux Maurins 1999 €28
Ripe with hints of plum, leather and forest fruits. Good tannins, 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet-Franc. A treat.
10. Margaux, Clos du Cadeos 2000 €39
From a small family estate of only 5 hectares, this vintage is a deep crimson coloured wine with aromas of black fruit. Full in the mouth, it has excellent balance with mellow tannins and long-lasting silky finish.

11. Malbec. Las Moras, Reserva 2003 €23
Oak aged for twelve months lending a touch of smoke and vanilla, an intense inky colour combined with black fruits and herbs, this is a full bodied, robust and powerful red - a perfect New World match for steak. “This polished Argentine is so smooth and luscious, shot through with flavours of ripe blackberries and spice... Chile
12. Casa del Bosque Reserva Syrah, 2004 €27
Hand harvested wine. Ruby in colour with aromas of plum cherry and violets with some floral notes. Smokey oak and vanilla on the palate. An elegant soft wine with velvety tannins.
South Africa
13. Blaauklippen, Shiraz 2003 €24
Aromas of sweet tobacco, vanilla and dried fruits on the nose. Fruitiness on the palate is mellowed by chocolate tones and gentle oak flavour. The result is an elegant wine with a pleasant dry finish.

Pale gold in colour, the fruity bouquet has hints of fresh apples, lemon and flowers. Dry, crisp and refreshing on the palate, the fruit flavours lead to a dry pleasant finish.

23. Muscadet de Sevre et Maine sur Lie, Loire €22
From Chateau de Goulaine, a light classic white. Very dry, with an apple fruit character and fresh, crisp finish.
24. Chablis 2004. F Chauvenet €24
This excellent example of a traditional Chablis is medium bodied and dry with a ripe flavour balanced by minerals and touches of lemon zests.
25. Chablis Domaine du Colombier 2002, Premier Cru Fourchaume €36 Minerally laden and fantastic acidity. Plenty of fruit and bone dry. A really lovely wine for Chablis lovers.
26. Sancerre Domaine Gerard Millet 2004 €26
Good citrus flavours on the palate with hints of confectionery. Good texture and excellent balance between acidity and fruit. Crisp and fresh.
27. Pouilly Fuissé A.C. 2001/2 Château Lavernette €33
Well rounded and elegant, a well balanced wine from one of the best and most consistent Domaines.
28. Alsace – Pinot Blanc Vieilles Vignes 2003, Meyer-Fonne €24
