You'll find 21-day dry-aged beef here, lamb from The Burren across in Co Clare, ham and bacon from Tipperary and a whole lot of unusual things.

Many of the old-fashioned cuts are offered, things like tripe, skirt and pig's tails that you never see any more, except in places like the English Market, and you'll get other hard-to-find foods too like rabbit, and game in season. Then there's seasonal poultry of course and, if you're planning a big party, this is the place to get a pig on a spit.

Then there's a range of sausage and every kind of ham and bacon, including home cured rashers, and organic chickens, free range eggs, duck eggs...And an online shop too.

It's quite a business.

Open Mon-Sat, 8-6. Online shop. abbreviations
