Nancy Hands

A sister establishment to The Hole in the Wall (see entry), Nancy Hands is a newish pub with an old feel, but far from being a theme pub. It's a characterful place for a drink and the selection stocked is unusually extensive: it includes an unusualy good choice of wines, also an extensive cocktail menu and a wide range of vodkas and whiskeys.

Food was an important aspect of Nancy Hands from the outset and, on the whole, it is well done with menus successfully straddling the divide between traditional bar food (seafood chowder, steaks; lunchtime carvery) and lighter international fare.

Restaurant: Seats 120. Meals available from 10am; L&D menus daily. Children welcome. Live music on occasion. Air conditioning. Toilets wheelchair accessible. Closed 25-26 Dec & Good Fri.

Directions:

100 metres from gates of Phoenix Park going towards Heuston Station.
