O'Callaghan's Delicatessen, Bakery & Café

The ideal place to break a journey, Patrick & Mary O'Callaghan provide a one stop shop for their many regulars, as they have an impressive deli and bakery as well as tasty fare for a snack or full meal in the café.

This is the place to stock up with delicious home-baked breads and cakes, home-made jams and chutneys - and, best of all perhaps, there’s a range of home-made frozen meals.

They do a range of seasonal specialities too, including wedding confectionery and Christmas treats, made to order. Also a great home-made gluten free range, offering everything from soda breads, to sweet and savoury tarts.

For smokers, and anyone who prefers to eat out of doors, there is a sun deck which has a covered area.

To avoid the busy main street, park around the corner on the road to the creamery - or, coming from Dublin, parking is also available on the new square (on right after second set of lights); but remember the square is not available for parking on Thursday - market day.

Seats 140 (outdoor 20). Food served Mon-Sat, 8.30 am- 5 pm; L 12.30-5pm. Closed Sun, bank hols, 24-27 Dec. Amex, Diners, MasterCard, Visa, Laser. abbreviations
