Pax House

Just half a mile out of Dingle, John O’Farrell's modern house enjoys what may well be the finest view in the area, and it is also one of the most comfortable and chilled-out places to stay.

John keeps everything shipshape and there's a pleasant laid-back atmosphere which is very relaxing.

Thoughtfully furnished bedrooms have every amenity, including a fridge and safe, and most of the well-finished bathrooms have full bath; two suites have their own terraces where guests can lounge around and enjoy that stupendous view - and there’s a stylish big lounge with a terrace for guests’ use too.

Breakfast is an enjoyable event with lots of home-made goodies - and eggs supplied by the free-range chickens who strut their stuff in the gardens.

No dinners are offered, but the restaurants of Dingle are only a short distance away.

Rooms 13 (3 superior, 5 shower only, 1 family room, 6 ground floor, all no-smoking); B&B €60-80 pps, €30 ss. Children welcome (under 3s free in parents room, cots available at no charge). Pets permitted by arrangement. Wine licence. Garden, walking. Closed 1 Nov-1Apr. MasterCard, Visa, Laser. abbreviations
