Just half a mile out of Dingle, this modern house enjoys what may well be the finest view in the area, and it is also one of the most comfortable and relaxing places to stay.
John O’Farrell took over as proprietor in 2007 and, although no major changes were necessary, he has re-decorated throughout.
Thoughtfully furnished bedrooms have every amenity, including a fridge and safe, and most of the well-finished bathrooms have full bath; two suites have their own terraces where guests can lounge around and enjoy that stupendous view - and there’s a cosy sitting room with a fire for guests’ use too.
Breakfast is an enjoyable event with lots of home-made goodies; it is served in a bright and airy dining room overlooking the bay and with a terrace outside it for fine weather – where you can watch the free-range chickens that supplied the eggs for breakfast strutting their stuff.
No dinners are offered at the time of going to press but that may change – and, meanwhile, the restaurants of Dingle are only a short distance away.
