Pheasants’ Hill was a small Ulster farmstead for over 165 years until it was rebuilt in the mid-’90s - and is now a comfortable country house on a seven-acre organic small-holding within sight of the Mourne Mountains. The property is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and, although very close to the road, it is otherwise an idyllic spot.
The bedrooms differ in character and outlook but are all comfortably furnished with generous beds and modern facilities; rooms at the back are quieter.
Breakfast is a major event and worth factoring in as a main meal in your day, including dry-cured bacon and home-made sausages made with their own free range Tamworth pork; vegetarians are also well catered for.
