In an interesting area of Dublin, just north of the River Liffey and close to the Phoenix Park, this appealing Italian is a consistently popular neighbourhood restaurant.

Whether for a quick and tasty bowl of soup at lunchtime or a relaxing evening meal, its reputation for reliably good food at reasonable prices is well earned.

It’s a laid back, welcoming place but not at the cost of good service from the friendly staff, which has always been as much a highlight as the flavoursome cooking. Nice wines too…
