Ryan's Bar

This pleasant, well-run and very popular pub in Navan makes a good meeting place for a drink or at lunch-time, when contemporary light meals are offered: soups, hot panini bread, wraps (including a vegetarian option) and toasties (honey baked ham, perhaps, with a salad garnish).

Apple pie and cream may be predictable but it’s enjoyable nonetheless - and there’s always a dessert among the daily specials.

It’s good value, the airy bar makes for a comfortable atmosphere and staff are friendly and efficient.

Disc parking. Open from 11.30 am; L Mon-Sat. 12-4 (to 3pm Sat). Closed 25 Dec & Good Fri. MasterCard, Visa, Laser. abbreviations

Multyfarnham is a delightful traditional village in the gloriously unspoilt rolling countryside just north of Mullingar, and near Lough Derravaragh – where the mythical Children of Lir spent 300 years of their 900 year exile. Complete with a 13th century Francisca ...
