A younger sister restaurant to the successful and admirably consistent restaurant in Navan (The Loft), The Side Door is based on the same principles of accessibility, offering good quality international food at a fair price. Funky surroundings make for an informal atmosphere that appeals equally to different age groups - and well-trained staff greet guests promptly on arrival and provide watchful service throughout.

All fresh meat and poultry used is Irish and fully traceable, with suppliers credited on the menu - good to know when you're tucking into tasty meals that include popular starters like spicy buffalo wings, and reliable main course favourites like char-grilled steaks and home-made burgers.

Popular dishes from around the world include pasta, pizza and a good selection of salads; specialities include vegetarian dishes - roast vegetable calzonette, perhaps - and there's a daily specials board, including fish specials.
