The Side Door

A younger sister restaurant to two successful and admirably consistent restaurants in Navan (The Loft) and Kells (The Ground Floor), The Side Door is based on the same principles of accessibility (good quality international food at a fair price), funky surroundings that make for an informal atmosphere that appeals equally to different age groups - and well-trained staff, who greet guests promptly on arrival and provide watchful service throughout.

All fresh meat and poultry used is Irish and fully traceable, with suppliers credited on the menu - good to know when you're tucking into tasty meals that include popular starters like spicy buffalo wings, and reliable main course favourites like char-grilled steaks and home-made burgers.

Popular dishes from around the world include pastas, pizza and a good selection of salads; specialities include vegetarian dishes - roast vegetable calzonette, perhaps - and there's a daily specials board, including fish specials.
