Buy & Eat & Learn

Classes/Courses / Farmshop

Denotes genuine Irish food culture, ie special Irish food products/companies/producers, and highlights the best places to shop for regional and artisan foods; the selection excludes obvious 'non-Irish' elements regardless of quality, eg ethnic restaurants and specialists in coffee, wine and other drinks, unless relevant to local production or history. Eat & Stay establishments are chosen for their commitment to showcasing local produce and Irish hospitality.

This is an interesting place to visit and has an organic farm shop, Mustard, offering vegetables, herbs and fruit (including heritage apples) in season; also jams, cordials and pickles based on the garden produce, made from all-organic ingredients.

Plants for sale include potted herbs, soft fruit plants, garden perennials and both native and imported trees. Farmers' Market on site every 2nd Sunday, stall at Dublin Food Co-Op (Saturdays).

Also sells other local produce, such as the magnificent Glebe Brethan cheese, and offers cut flowers and floristry, including wedding flowers. The Mustard Seed Café is also available for special events.

There's also a range of courses and classes running throughout the year.
