Stangmore Town House

Anne and Andy Brace bought this conveniently central property in 2007, but they were already well known in Dungannon from their previous business, nearby Stangmore Country House.

Guests will find very comfortable accommodation here, with Anne’s trademark hospitality and immaculate housekeeping - and, of course, Andy’s cooking.

There's a relaxing sitting room for guests' use and the bright and and spacious rooms have good amenities and lots of little touches that make guests feel at home.

Good food is a very big part of the appeal of Stangmore House. Andy's breakfast are renowned but they also operate a restaurant six nights a week, with occasional theme nights, and can open for lunch for groups.

A committed environmentalist and a health-conscious chef, Andy is committed to reducing the air-miles, sugar, salt and saturated fats in all his dishes.

They are members of the local Good Food Circle which is operated by Flavour of Tyrone and menus are always based on local produce wherever possible, perhaps including steaks from award-winning Cloughbane Farm (see entry), 5 miles away. There’s also a carefully chosen and fairly priced wine list to accompany
