This Belfast hotels interior is contemporary, and accommodation - in generous high-windowed rooms, theatrically decorated in an uncompromisingly modern style - is simple yet very luxurious; even the most dyed-in-the-wool traditionalist would be won over by the sheer style of these rooms and they have wonderful bathrooms to match.

The Grill Room

This stylishly informal area, which occupies the whole of the ground floor, has become one of Belfast’s most popular restaurants and meeting places, and is always busy with non-residents, which gives the hotel a great buzz. Prime Irish steaks are the main focus of the menu, but there's also a good choice of fish and seafood.

Various set menus offering a balanced choice are also available, and these include a keenly priced pre-theatre menu. Themed sharing planks are offered in the afternoon - an appealing idea when you're on holiday or don't have to go back to work after lunch.

Combining style and value, the popularity of The Grill Room is easy to understand - and there are cocktails and free evening entertainment too. An appealing package.

2 euro Denotes genuine Irish food culture, ie special Irish food products/companies/producers, and highlights the best places to shop for regional and artisan foods; the selection excludes obvious 'non-Irish' elements regardless of quality, eg ethnic restaurants and specialists in coffee, wine and other drinks, unless relevant to local production or history. Eat & Stay establishments are chosen for their commitment to showcasing local produce and Irish hospitality. This small hotel is in a choice corner location overlooking Belfast Lough and Bangor Marina, and offers contemporary style - together with the hands-on hospitality that is not easy to find in larger establishments. It’s a pleasant place to stay and not only handy ...
