Margaret Whooley runs one of the most relaxed bars in the country: known affectionately as "the tin pub" after its corrugated iron roof, it has a lovely rambling country garden going down to the water at the back, where children are very welcome to burn off excess energy.
Other than succumbing to the telephone after many years of resistance, it's a place that just doesn't change.
It's not really a food pub, but pizza has been mentioned, and they sometimes set up a barbecue for people to cook for themselves.
A place to savour.
