Producers of traditional preserves here since 1988. In classic style, Ellen O'Leary started making home preserves in her kitchen in 1988 and, soon noticed for their great flavour, they found a ready market.
She and her husband Sean developed the business, but never gave up on the old family recipes or the traditional open pan boiling method and this - together with the seasonal fruit that Wexford is famous for - is the secret of their success.
Now run by nephew Tom and his wife Laura, with Ellen and Sean still lending a hand, they produce several marmalades as well as a range of jams (including less usual ones like gooseberry and rhubarb & ginger along with old favourites such as strawberry and raspberry) and a Christmas range that includes an unusual orange and honey glaze for ham.
Available from independent shops, some multiples (Superquinn, SuperValu, Centra etc) and tourist attractions in the area; supplies some of the more discerning hotels, such as Ferrycarrig Hotel, Wexford.
