Yellow Door Deli, Bakery & Café

The energetic and talented Simon Dougan is one of the luminaries of the Northern Ireland food scene, and his Yellow Door Deli celebrated a decade of success in 2008.

His in-house bakery produces some of the finest bread in Northern Ireland (an area renowned for good home baking) and, as well as retailing a wide selection of the best speciality foods from Ireland and abroad, they also have a number of home-made specialities, including patés, terrines, chutneys, salads and ice cream, which are sold in the shop and served in the café - discerning customers from all over the north home in on this smashing shop, to top up with goodies and have a tasty bite of lunch.

Hot smoked Irish salmon with grilled soda bread, wild rocket and lemon dill cream is a house speciality - go for it!

There is a also an extensive, very interesting and keenly priced wine list, and a soft seating area, complete with cookery book library, where customers can relax.

* Outside catering is now a speciality – and, true to form, the food is all honest local and 100% homemade.
