The remarkable achievement is that Brady Family hams are 100% sourced from Bord Bia approved Irish suppliers and crafted by hand (not machine!) and are available nationwide in SuperValu, Centra, Dunnes, Superquinn, Tesco, all symbol groups and leading independent delis.
Very few companies are staying true to the traditional methods of producing ham as was done in farmhouses up and down the country in the past. Brady Family is proud to retain many of these old skills and cooking methods and this results in a product when compared to its main competitors that it is 100% Irish and unprocessed with no added water.
What are the benefits of Brady Family ham compared to other ham on the market?

• Brady Family hams are all made using only young Irish pork and all carry the Bord Bia Quality Assurance Mark.
• All hams are slowly cured on the bone, using a unique traditional curing recipe for several days. This gives all Brady Family hams their unique taste and flavour.
• Each cured leg is carefully deboned by our own craft butchers and then formed by hand into an individual ham for steam cooking in its own rind. Each individual ham comes from its own individual pork leg.
• The ham is steam cooked for 8-10 hours with the rind on, which ensures succulence, flavour and texture. No added water is retained in the final product.
• A combination of all of the stages in the curing, preparation and cooking process of Brady Family hams, gives them their unique flavour, taste and texture.

Traditional Home Cooked Ham
This traditional Irish gammon is slowly steam cooked for 8 – 10 hours ensuring complete protection of the natural flavour and texture of the gammon. To finish, the ham is lightly dressed in golden breadcrumbs.
Home Baked Ham
Using only the finest fresh Irish pork, Brady Family Baked ham is coated in rich brown sugar and flash roasted in the oven, giving it a unique sweet texture and succulent flavour.
Oak Smoked Ham
Brady Family Oak Smoked Ham is traditionally smoked by hanging over fired natural Irish brown Tipperary oak timber for several hours, resulting in a mild smoky, yet succulent taste.
Glazed Ham on the Bone (Easy Carve)
Leg of premium Irish pork, slow cured on the bone for a rich flavour, traditionally steam cooked for succulence, glazed with brown sugar, mustard and ground cloves and flash roasted in the oven. What makes this product unique is that the femur bone has been removed which enables ease of carving.
