SHORTLISTED FOR PRESTIGIOUS INTERNET AWARD
Hailed as "the Oscars of the internet industry", the eircom Golden Spiders are Ireland’s leading showcase for excellence in online business and the people running them, in Ireland.
Georgina Campbell's www.ireland-guide.com was shortlisted for the “Best Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Website Award” which is no mean feat considering that there has been hundreds of entries in this particular category.
Established in 1997, the eircom Golden Spiders are judged by a prestigious panel comprising leaders from industry, commerce, media and academia, chaired by Cathal Magee, Director of eircom. The Panel evaluates websites based on different criteria including: content, structure and navigation, visual design, functionality, interactivity, and overall experience.

This is a great milestone for ireland-guide.com and is testament to the hard work that Georgina Campbell and her team have put into the project.
The Golden Spider Awards are an annual event honouring Irish individuals and organisations for their outstanding achievements online and celebrate the successes of the Irish Internet and digital media. The awards reward Irish businesses and community organisations and individuals for their creativity and innovation and provide an important opportunity to recognise and showcase online excellence. The Golden Spiders are considered an important benchmark for distinction and excellence in web based business strategies.
The eircom Golden Spider awards 2007 will took place on Thursday 22nd November at the Burlington Hotel, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.
