Ballykeefe Midsummer Festival

From puppet theatre to Mozart, treasure trails to traditional music, the massed ranks of the Garda Band to solo performers all within the stunning setting that is Ballykeeffe Quarry Amphitheatre. Moya Brennan’s first impression said it all “áit draíochta” a magical place.

June 20th - Local history lecture – The historic St. Aidans Church of Ireland building is the venue for the latest in our series of summer lectures on local history.

June 22 nd – Family Fun Day – A family day out with a difference. Your kids will thank you.

July 12th – Chapterhouse Theatre Company presents “King Arthur” Magical theatre in magical surroundings

August 16th – Garda Band and choir – One of Ireland’s top musical attractions accompanied by local choirs.

August Bank holiday weekend – Céilí and folk mini-fest – Acts to be confirmed but a top line-up guaranteed.

August 21st – Rockfest , “Diamond Head” + support – The forerunners of Metallica strut their stuff in Ballykeeffe. Mind-blowing occasion.
