Feile Bia Help
Féile Bia is a year round programme that emphasises the importance of food
sourcing in hotels, restaurants, pubs and workplaces throughout Ireland.
Féile Bia was introduced in 2001 in response to growing consumer concerns on
the origins of food offered when eating out.
Féile Bia is the consumer's reassurance that the fresh beef, lamb, pork, bacon, chicken and eggs being served are fully traceable from farm to fork and have been produced under a Quality Assurance Scheme.
When you see the Féile Bia logo displayed in a restaurant, hotel or pub you can be sure of the origin of food being served. There are well over a thousand members so far and the number is growing all the time. Those establishments recommended by ireland-guide.com that have signed up to the charter are recognised by the Féile Bia logo.
