We are happy to introduce to you three wines produced by Paul Dussourt, a very talented winemaker from Alsace who we met for the first time in June 2005. He impressed us with the quality of his range, especially his cuvee “tradition” you find below.

If you wished to taste a great Aloxe-Corton, here it is, robust with aromas of red fruits, a great weight, firm tannins well integrated, it is extremely seductive .

A very attractive and elegant wine with toasty flavours and a medley of scents such as cherries, strawberries and plums, nicely fleshy on the palate, this Pommard is mature enough to be enjoyed now.

It is a fascinating and complex wine, produced by a great winemaker, it has some lovely aromas of ripe red fruits, wild berries and spices, it is very elegant with a great structure gently supported by ageing oak.

Elegance and finesse are the two words to describe this wine. It is silky, fleshy with voluptuous aromas of raspberries, ripe strawberries and cherries, seductive flavours of violet and sous-bois, unforgettable!!

A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon at its best. The bouquet is rich, very ripe, the blend is dominated by the Merlot with aromas of red fruits and game. The finish is pleasant more Cabernet with aromas of strawberries.

This wine offers deep and intense colour, the bouquet ranges from Pepper Bell, cherry, figs, liquorice with hints of deep wood, the finish is smooth and long , a wine that you will really enjoy.

At long last, a good Saint Emilion that you can enjoy now by the glass or with your meal, elegant and generous, the bouquet is round and fruity with aromas of cooked fruits, gently oaked, the tannins are well integrated.

Good bouquet of black berries with major cassis. In the mouth, it is surprisingly rounded and it shows nice aromas of ripe berries and cherries.

Very unusual in Saint Estèphe, the Merlot dominates the blend. But the result is great. Good bouquet of cooked fruits, ripe cherries, very well supported by its time aged in oak The finish is elegant with firm tannins.

Tasted only recently, we were nicely surprised by this powerful and elegant wine. A charming nose, an explosion of fruit on the palate, with fine tannins, gently woody for a delicious and long finish.

A delicious wine warm and rich, with a great selection of ripe red fruits and black cherries. The tannins are generous, the finish is very impressive, a very serious and charming wine.

Exceptional wine, elegant bouquet with a lovely smell of warm berries jam, fur and dried fruits. After a few minutes of being opened, this wine shows even a more complex nose. On the palate, it is just MAGIC, big on the fruits, rich and subtle with powerful but well integrated tannins, our Favourite.

Clairette, Bourboulec, Grenache Blanc. Most famous for their red, it is a gem to find this on a wine list. Produced and aged in barrels, this wine has a great backbone, some complex aromas of passion fruit, apricot, soft spices and a good acidity. An original wine, very charming and rare.

This is just pure perfection; this Condrieu is possibly the best on the market. The nose is fantastic and intense, on the palate, it is perfection again with a great concentration of aromas, it would take a page to describe this wine, stunning!!!

At last! It has been almost 10 years that we have been looking for this one! One of the rarest wines in France, the bouquet is very pleasant, the acidity is just perfect, the finish so pleasant and smooth.
Rhône Valley Red
Les Amis de la Bouïssière, Vin de Table, 2004 34.00
Yes, you read correctly, it is a Table Wine and seriously, we would be foolish to not include this wine on the list. It is a Table Wine simply because the producer is using a grape (Merlot) unauthorised on the appellation. Let your palate judge and you will be nicely surprised.

Made with Syrah, it is very seductive and rich with lovely aromas of strawberries and raspberries. It also has a great backbone, the aromas are well supported by ageing a few months in barrels giving the wine a long and complex finish, we love it.
