The days are getting longer and we are experiencing a lovely couple of weeks of Spring sunshine which seems to be driving a sense of optimism and thoughts of holidays and relaxation.
Much of the press on the subject is in relation to where people are planning to holiday this year - in Ireland or elsewhere.
Where will you have your main holiday this year - at home (staycation), domestically or abroad?
By "domestically" we mean not going abroad - as opposed to the much maligned term "staycation" which is defined as "a period of time in which an individual or family stays at home and relaxes at home or takes day trips from their home to area attractions" as opposed to a domestic holiday.
So although much of the press would say otherwise - a Staycation is not holidaying in your country of domicile, it is actually staying at home in your house.
