Boathouse Cottages, Delphi
A courtyard of four charming little cottages in the sensational Delphi Valley. Stunning scenery, old pine furtniture, stone floors, big open fires, lots of atmosphere.
Two of the two-storey cottages – Nos. 1 & 2 - are slightly larger and have a triple bedroom (double & single beds) and a twin room, sharing one bathroom with bath and shower. The other two – Nos. 3 & 4 – have a double room and a twin room.
All four Boathouse Cottages have full central heating and modern kitchens (including dishwasher) and they share an adjoining communal laundry facility. There are no TVs. The cottages are not suitable for very small children and dogs are only permitted by arrangement..
The Delphi Estate is in an unspoilt valley of unparalleled beauty, just half an hour from the lively town of Westport and 70 minutes northwest of Galway City. On the northern edge of Connemara and close to beautiful empty beaches, Delphi is an idyllic and tranquil hideaway.
Wrens Cottage, Delphi
A gem of a cottage overlooking Fin Lough in the wonderful Delphi Valley. Newly restored and equipped to a very high standard, the cottage is located on a quiet back road and has a wonderful ambience, with lovely views over Connacht’s tallest mountains and the leaping salmon of Wrens Bay.
Wrens has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a superking bed with ensuite bathroom. The other bedrooms have twin beds. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a washing machine but not dishwasher. The cottage has a DVD player and satellite TV. A big open fireplace and antique pine furniture provide great atmosphere to this single-storey, roadside cottage. It is not suitable for very small children and dogs are only permitted by arrangement.
